The time of the year is approaching when the girls get entrepreneurial and innovative, take a bit of risk, do presentations and deal with questions on the spot. We have 3 competitions on this term that will put some of our KEHS girls to the test.
We have the ICAEW Business Competition on 13th March for Lower 6th girls where they will have to analyse a business Case Study and put forward a strategy for the business owner. The girls will need to analyse financial figures to assist with their recommendations.
Some L5th girls will be taking part in the Girls’ School Association National Competition on 26th March. The girls will need to produce an excellent business proposal on how they will raise money for a chosen charity and then put this into place.
Six Lower 5th girls will be taking part in the Rolls Royce Challenge on 29th March. Where the girls will need to design, manufacture and sell products to make a profit which will help them to also gain an understanding of the key processes utilised within an enterprise.
Good Luck to them and watch this space to hear about how they have got on.
