Towards the end of the summer term, girls in the Lower Sixth AS Level Business and Economics group have been working towards the Eureka Challenge which takes place at the University of Birmingham on Wednesday 11th July.
The girls were tasked to come up with a quintessentially British product to market within a developing country. The group decided to focus on the concept of English high tea to market into Malaysia by using the well-established, high quality brand of Fortnum & Mason. The project coordinates well with work that they will be undertaking next academic year as part of their A-Level studies on the topic of globalization.
The girls have produced a report which included their business strategy and why they chose the Malaysian market.
They will take their report along to the University of Birmingham and give a presentation to a panel of judges for a chance to win a £500 prize. Good luck girls!
